Yikes! Where has the summer gone?

Man, I had hoped to have SOME summer pics up by now.  Oh well!  Some of my pics are in my parents computer in Orlando so a lot of my FL ones from August will be posted, eventually.  :)  Here are some from our fun Labor Day picnic with the district.  Usually its a really open ended activity - meaning, everyone just does whatever they want.  This year the district primary leaders organized some fun events for the kids.  Cliffton knew he was the fastest 5 year old.  Well, he may have been one of, if not, the fastest 5 year old, but I guess he competed with a bunch of older kids.  He was a good sport and worked hard.  Violet had a lot of fun and competed in some of the events too.  My sister Susie came back with me from Florida mainly so that going through security and flying home with the kiddos wouldn't be um, fire and brimstone.  ;)  Susie in in the last pic with Azure.

This is from Violet:  bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbffffffffffffffgggggggggggggggggggggnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Thanks Violet.
On with the pics:

The kids were supposed to hop on the potato sacks and then plant their face in a plate of whip cream, eat a strawberry and then hop back.  After the food part, Cliffton was done, but I encouraged him to finish.  He did.
Violet is such a little biker!  She  has only once been on  bike like this and she did great.  It was nice of the owner to let her ride around on it.

We had a great day with great food, weather and activities and fun with friends.

That was sure nice of Susie to fly back with you and to be with you at the activity. The kiddos are so cute and it just makes this grandma's heart burst with love. Thank you, thank you Janelle for posting these beautiful pics.
