When Steve n' Em and Michelle came to visit, we went on a hike together in American Fork canyon area. Little Ella was cute the whole time! The last pic is of me with my favorite daughter (for now) and my favorite niece (for now)!  I later found out the info on the hike:  Silver Lake Hike, 4.4 total  miles, altitude change 1,449 ft.

179th Semiannual General Conference

I'm enjoying what I can hear of conference this year. (Its been a bit tough with the kids!) I love listening to the prophet and the apostles of our day. What a wonderful blessing to have the restored Gospel truths on Earth today. I'm so grateful that we have temples where we can learn more about the Plan of Salvation and where we can be sealed as forever families. I thank my Heavenly Father that we have a Savior! I know we loves ALL of us. At the end of conference, I felt very strongly the love that our prophet has for us and that he truly does give us God's word today.

Here's Richard's family!

Yea! I survived!

I finished the "Top of Utah" marathon! The marathon was down a canyon for the first 14 miles and that's when I started to get tired. In my practice sessions, the longest jog I had was about 8.5 miles so I was a bit surprised that I felt good until about then. I ended up walking a lot from mile 17-20, by far the hardest 3 miles of the course. Darrell joined me for part of it (as a spectator) and that was really kind. Otherwise, I did it alone. I saw Cliffton and Richard around mile 17 and that was really awesome. It took me 6 hrs and 6 mins. and that was looooooong! I hope to do another one someday and finish about an hour sooner. We'll see. I'm glad I did it! It was perfect weather and the temp. felt great.
