Azure really likes the sand, Cliffie loves to run from the water and Violet loves to be in the water. That's about it for this one!

Memorial picnic
There was a big church picnic. We had a good day. It was a little hard to keep an eye on all of the kiddos when we were getting the food and chatting. Since it was pretty warm day, it was great to let the kids play in the water. Azure didn't like it too much. Our little (but taller than me!) friend, Janeth, took Azure around the water park area but Azure didnt' really want to get wet. Janeth is one of the oldest kids in Primary now. She's in the red shirt. Cristina and Rebecca are the other two in a lot of the pictures and we stayed with their family when we were brand new to LI. Aren't these jumping pics fun?

This is my 'other' baby. She is baby Allison and we adore her. She is about 9 months older than Azure.
A cute little girl there shared her goggles with Violet. She was so sweet. Violet often seems to hang out with kids older than her.
I forgot the name of this sweet gal from the Rockaway branch. She has a very kind family and she had fun with Azure.

We had a combined Cliffie and Violet party on May 26. Richard did his awesome face painting. We had a 'pin the plant on Eve" game, twister, the movie "Wall-E", a remote control wall-e to play, bubble blowing station and food. It was a good time. Richard outlined the figures for me on the cakes and then I frosted them. They tasted fabulous, if I do say so myself, and I do! :) We let Violet blow out the EVE cake, Cliffton the Wall-E cake, and the rest of the kids did the MO cake.

The week of Cliffton's Birthday
We all loved watching The Avengers on May 7. Well, Azure and I explored the hallway area right by theater #. She wasn't too thrilled about the movie. I loved what I caught. Afterwards, we let the kids play on some of the games, w/o money.
On May 8 we went to Chuck E Cheese! That's always a hit. I won a jackpot! I think we won 84 tickets from one of those 'hit-the-light-to-stop-it-between-the-posts' games. Know what games I'm talking about? I like those. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've won a jackpot from them. :) Maybe I should try gambling next... ha ha ha??!!
Cliffton's Pre-K class along with several more of the Pre-K classes did their "Nifty 50s" show the day before his 5th birthday. Cliff sang, or was supposed to sing: Splish Splash (Little Richard), Happy Days (the theme song), Rockin Robin (Bobby Day), Rock around the Clock (Bill Haley), Shout (Isley Brothers), Twist and Shout (Isley Brothers) and We Go Together (Grease). He actually did sing a little. He's so cute! I think the two I heard him sing the most were Splish Splash and Twist & Shout. Eden, the black haired girl in front of the girl in the pink jacket, is in Cliffton's class and she's in his primary class. I'm going to try and get some video posted with this too. We'll see about that. (Sorry pics aren't that great - my camera isn't very good with distance)
Don't you love his face?
On his birthday, May 10, we went to the Long Island Children's Museum. That place is a ton of fun! Our family favorite is the bubble center. We have the recipe too! :) Haven't tried it yet though. But we will let you know how it goes this summer!
The climbing net or whatever its called goes up pretty high. I wish I could do it! Hmmmm.... ;)
Cliffton really likes the lights and the horn at the lighthouse. There is a slide that goes off of it that Violet loves. The play area has a small section just for the one and under babies. I tried to keep Azure from eating the toys but as you can see.....
Violet the conductor.
