Violet's First Birthday!

My sweet lil' girl turned one yesterday! She also got her first haircut yesterday which was unplanned. She got hot wax on her head and so I cut a lot of it out. I don't have time to get photos out now, but, the party was fun and she looooved her cupcake! Especially the pink frosting and pink sprinkles! She climbed onto the table a lot yesterday and she didn't care much about her presents. She acted really shy around everyone except Grandma at first too. That was dang cute!

snow treks!

We have a picture of our snow fort. We ended up only working on it for one day. I love Violet's face in these pics. She was really happy to be out in the cold. Cliffton loved to jump off of the snow banks. If you look at the pic where Richard is swinging him around, it looks like his (Cliffton's) foot in "on" the background. Its kinda hard to explain. Its like he is a giant if you ignore what he's doing with Richard.

Pockets are cool, man.

I love watching Cliffton use his pockets. He is too dang cute! It was just recently that we helped him figure it out.

Oh how she loves toilet paper. Yeah....

Violet has a fascination with toilet bowls (ewwwww!) and with toilet paper. She just loves to pull down as much as she can and then toss it around. I've been putting trash cans, toilet brushes, plungers and t.p. up high or hidden somewhere. Oh, you never know how creative - or careful- you can be until you become a parent!
