Violet's sledding day
Just after Christmas or so, I really wanted to go sledding with the kiddos. Cliffie really didn't want to go with us. While he played with Grandma and uncles and aunties, we went to Rock Canyon for some sledding fun. I was a bit nervous with Violet the first time or two but it was tons of fun and she loved it. Of course, she loved eating the snow too. (Those kind of pictures show up later when we actually get Cliffton to go sledding with us.) Her big snow gloves didn't stay on very well. Richard and I got a bit frustrated with constantly putting them back on. I tumbled down one of the runs as you can see in the third pic. Richard took pics on this trip and then went sledding alot when we later took Cliffton.

Temple Square pt.2
We went inside one of the visitors center (no pics of that) and we went inside the tabernacle. Otherwise we had fun outside looking at lights and taking pictures. Riding Trax with Grandma and Papa was a lotta fun too!

That was pretty day with pretty snow for snowshoeing. We were in the Aspen Family Grove area.

How they love to be with Papa. But you know, they also love his Ipod too. Especially when old mickey mouse cartoons are chosen.
Christmas
Cliffton and his "by the power of Greyskull" sword of power. I really liked Violet's face in the second picture and the present was from Richard to me. A pop up book about fairies. Pretty cool. Violet likes her Minnie cup. Hungry Hippos is enjoyed by our whole family. Ella Rose and Violet Ann in their new PJs. Sweetest lil' princesses! (I forgot to mention earlier: we were all sick. I brought a nasty NY cough and cold bug with me and the Stacey household resounded with coughs for the entire break).
